What to Expect

On any given Sunday, a group of about 100 people gathers including about 45 children and youth. When you walk through the front doors you can expect to be offered some fresh coffee and often some snacks or fresh baking. We value time to meet each other and enjoy being together.

We meet in a large circle with a cross in the middle of the room to draw our attention to Christ and each other… rather than a stage, speaker, or band. We aim to be a safe space where people can ask questions and explore the significance of Jesus from any starting point and background.

The service typically consists of simple music (often just a guitar or two and maybe a keyboard and a hand drum), with a sprinkle of liturgy (readings, Scriptures, prayers), a Bible-based teaching time, and response (dialogue in smaller groups, prayer, communion, or music). Before the teaching time we take a short coffee-break and split up into groups with the children heading off to age-specific classes and the adults and older youth staying together for their teaching time.

The service is done about 11:30am and then people hang out and visit for as long as they want.
